This series incorporates similar themes of emptiness and reminiscence. When taking images like this, I must first find the perfect framing and lighting, then wait until I get the exact shot I want. This series, shot in different areas of Italy, was created to encompass and celebrate its small, beautiful architectural details while utilizing colour, texture, light, shadow and framing as a guide. My family's background is Italian, so this series is a special way for me to preserve these varied captures. The Italian word "Ricordi" translates to "Memories" in English.
